This video is the trailer of ‘The Garden of Words’. This movie is the latest movie by Shinkai Makoto. I like this movie, because person who draw the designs and illustrates in Shinkai Makoto. He is really good at describing the something detail and beautiful. And he is popular at drawing background really beautiful. Some of that is beautiful then real one. He used the green color for this movie. I heard that a green color is difficult color to use in drawing .

In this movie, there’s two main character. A boy’s name is Akizuka Takao. He was high school student. He was interested in making the shoes. But he lose his father and his mother was get out the home with her new boyfriend. When it’s rain, he went to the Shinjuku Public Park. A woman’s name is Yukino Yukari. She was cover at many secret. One raining day, they met in the Shinjuku Public Park. They didn't know each other. But they met every raining day morning, they became to friend.

I will introduce about the Shinkai Makoto. He is a Japanese director of animation and formed graphic designer. And he is famous Japanese movie director. Reason why I chose this topic is latest I saw the movie named “The Garden of Words”,that directed, written, designed and photographed by Shinkai Makoto. I have interested about him. So, I searched about him. I’m going to use prezie for presentation.

He was born in Nagano, Japan. He studied Japanese literature at Chou University. I heard that he produced the drama too. But, I’m not interested in the Japanese drama. So, I’ll skip that part. His favorite anime is ‘Castle in the Sky’ by Hayao Miyazaki. Shinkai Makoto has been called “The New Miyazaki” in several reviews.

After I saw ‘The Garden of Words’, I found another movie by Shinkai Makoto. I heard this title before but I didn't see this movie.So I can’t introduce about his movie I want to see this movie. My friend told me some information about the Shinkai Makoto and this movie.

“This movie was ended in sad ending. A boy and girl can’t meet! All the movies by Shinkai Makoto were ended in sad ending. I heard that he has a kind of phobia about the love”. I don’t know it’s true.

This video called ‘Story board’. When the movie directors make their movie they make ‘Story board’. It’s kind of script. They make script to understand the story easily. In this progress, they put some musics, acts, sketches etc. This video is the story board of the movie ‘5 Centimeter per Second’

These pictures are the Shinkai Makoto’s drawing and picture that captured by his movie. He really good at drawing the backgrounds.

This video’s title is ‘She&her cat’. This video shows the style of Shinkai Makoto. I want to show you, but if we don't have a time, I will show you for one minute or just skip this video.

Novel Reading:The Piano

The author is Rosemary Border. The book’s genre is a fiction story. This story is about one pianist, Anthony Evans. The story was started from Anthony Evans' Piano Concert. Sally Hill, the news paper reporter, went to the pianist's dressing room and asked him few questions. She asked, 'Did you start to learn the piano when you were three, like Mozart?’ And pianist told his story to her.

Anthony Evans was born in poor house. Poor people didn't hear the music. So, Anthony was not interested in music. Everyone called him Tony. He has many brothers, so he has to work for his family. When he's age was thirteen, he left the school and he went to the Mr. Wood's farm for got some works. Mr. Wood was old friend with Tony's mother. Anthony stared working in Mr. Wood’s farm. He was a good worker. Mr. Wood liked him. He thought Tony with a son.

One day, Tony cleaned Mr. Wood’s garage for his new car. Tony and his friend started cleaning. They found a piano behind the old boxes. Tony played the piano and he though he can play the piano and he likes it. He wanted to move the piano in his room, but Mr. Wood didn't allow that. So, He moved the piano in a village school’s classroom. Of course, it was secret to Mr. Wood. His friend and Mr. Wood’s daughter helped him. He played the piano secretly. But, one night, Mr. Gordon, who the teacher of the village school, came back to the school for brought some note. And he heard the piano’s sound. He likes the piano and he interested in Tony. So, He told Tony and Mr. Wood that he wanted to teach the piano to Tony. He worked on the farm during the morning time. In the afternoon he went to the piano lesson. Some day, he went to the music competition for playing the piano. He won the music competition and he married with Mr. Wood’s daughter. His story was ended.

I like this book, because this story shows how people can get their dream and how they make that true. This kind of story is cheer me and makes me dream.

'Oh, my feet hurt!' he thought. He followed the man up some stair. 'I'm walking like Charlie Chaplin,' he thought. 'Everybody will laugh at me.'

He walked on to the stage and sat down at the big piano. ... He could not see the Wood family. He could not see Mr. Gordon. But suddenly Anthony felt their love and their kindness. His feet stopped hurting, his hands stopped shaking. - I like this part, because it shows that how much Anthony loves the Wood family and Mr. Gordon and how he likes the piano. He forgot the hurt of feet while he playing the piano and got won in the piano competition. I think this part is most dramatic part in this story.

Reason why I chose this topic is latest I saw the movie named "The Garden of Words", directed,written, designed and photographed by Shinkai Makoto. I have interested about him. So, I searched about him. I am going to use prezie for presentation.

Latest, I saw one movie called 'The Garden of Words'.

I like this movie's drawing and pictures. Person who draw the all drawing is Shinkai Makoto, Japanese movie directer. He describing every stuff detail and beautiful. Those are looks like real one. He used the green color for the lines. It's hard think that use green color in the drawing.
